Camp Nou is a soccer stadium located in Barcelona, Spain, here FC Barcelona play their home games since 1957, this is a legendary stadium started in 1954 and finished in 1957, it has a capacity of 96,336 people. Camp Nou means New Camp, is located in Catalunya region.
The architects that designed this beautiful stadium were Francesc Mitjans, Josep Soteras, and Lorenzo Garcia Barbon. This stadium has host many important tournaments and games including 2 UEFA Champions League finals , 1982 World Cup games, and 1992 Olympic soccer final. It is expected that Camp Nou suffers some modifications like the increase of seats to 101,000 to make it the fourth largest stadium in capacity of the world. It has many facilities like a memorabilia shop, mini pitches, and a chapel, also FC Barcelona Museum is located inside the stadium. Camp Nou has been used mainly for soccer games, but it has been also used for concerts, and for a Pope John Paul visit.
